Baby Music 2 was composed for the birth of my second child, Nathan. It was created and recorded on June 28th, 2005. Having done this for my first child, Noah, I wanted to do the same for Nathan. It is a one-take complete stream-of-consciousness performance, 78 minutes long. Even though my original intention of this music was to create birthing and lullaby music, it is a soothing, relaxing piece for everyone. Sometimes melodic, sometimes contemplative, it wanders through a quiet, peaceful landscape. Perfect for meditation or to create a calm, tranquil ambience. |
